I decided to do the banners on the computer then print them on a synthetic silk wich simulates scale fabric decently. The one draw back is that its way too stiff. It has an adhesive backing, and when the two prints are joined to make the two sided banner, it becomes rather rigid. Would be nice if the fabric was printable on both sides, and then you could wash it or something to remove the stiffness that it would need for printing, but I doubt there's much of a market for such a product.
